Well, the girls arrived back from their few days away and they had a great time...thanks Niall, Anne and cousins Fiadh and Daithí for inviting them...It was also a learning curve for them.. heading off on the bus.. a little bit of independence and the three older girls to look after the little ones...and of course it is lovely for them to spend some time together...

An added bonus for them was that they got to meet with even more of their cousins who were renting a house closeby..and here is Lorna with Darragh..

So while they were off enjoying good weather, BBQ's and generally having a good time I for the first time ever got to spend time with a little boy who generally doesn't demand too much attention and can find it hard to get a look in sometimes.......And it was lovely.. with his Dad at work and his sisters away he got Mom all to himself....First of all I was reminded of 'only child' status again and how easy it was to get to do lots of things like replying to texts, making long overdue phonecalls, visiting etc...We even got to go and visit Grandma Rose and Grandad Bill and stayed over with Martina and kept her up real late...No, we didn't !!

Alex had a great time and could not wait until his cousins Alan & Shane woke the following morning so he could get his hands on these!!
