This is an annual event in our house for the last few years...
These shoeboxes go to countries to give a little to children who otherwise might not receive anything.... They go to orphanages, hospitals, anywhere there is poverty...
We all do our bit... Declan gets to cover the boxes with Christmas paper! The kids fill the boxes, somethings gently used, most things new... I get to boss them all around and make sure they are doing things right!!!
It is nice in the midst of all that we have to help our own children be reminded that there are others not as fortunate as them and that Christmas is not all about taking but there is a lot of fun in giving also!!
