Nobody likes a celebration more than Elena.... so today was a good day....
Can hardly believe that today she is 8 when......
...it seems like only yesterday she was this size.....
This was Elena celebrating her 1st birthday...9 days after coming home and when she would eat nothing more than a few cheerios and some bread roll....She has come a long way from that pale scared little 14 lb baby girl....
And this is what I am longing for now.....weekend is over...am still tired and Monday is just around the corner.....Ah! hibernation sounds good... as winter rolls in... not on the cards for us humans tho:( will have to make do with the next 7 hours...... when is the Midterm break(Hallowe'en) anyone????

Hard to believe you're 8. We were up in New Hampshire in the mountains at the week end and we spent Saturday at Santa's Village. You would have enjoyed it. Maybe sometime we can get you out for a visit with your mom.
I'll see you all on Saturday Oct 30th.
